Partridge and olive – # 12, 14.
Partridge and yellow – # 12, 14.
The Partridge nymph, popularized by Sylvester Nemes, is so effective because it can represent many emerging aquatic insects. Mayfly, Caddis, and even Chironomid or Damsel.
The Partridgenymphs are best fished in slow moving water or still water with a dead drift or down and across (especially in moving water). These colors will cover many hatches and/or when there is ‘little happening’. Very simple but effective fly and easily fished. The flies are tied with floss and Partridge hackle.
Usually fished with a 12-15 foot leader and from in the surface film to as far down as you wish.

I ship the flies in new or recycled cassette or disc cases in order to protect the flies. Also it helps keep at least some of them out of landfills.
